Nina has been invited to be part of a new book by Ashley Rooney “100 Artists of the Midwest”. The book; due to be published late 2011; will showcase the art of 100 chosen artists throughout the Midwest.

Nina has been selected as the artist to represent Illinois in a new, national artist playing card deck. Nina will be developing the 5 of Hearts for this latest project by Art In Hand.

“Creative Visions”

Nina’s large-scale landscape paintings are featured in the show “Creative Visions” at the Illinois State Museum Southern Illinois Artisan Gallery in Rend Lake. The show opened in October 2011 and will be on exhibition through March 15th, 2012.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts Acquires “Red New Zealand”

The Conrad Hotel; Indianapolis, has acquired Nina’s painting “Red New Zealand ” (oil on canvas; 60″ X 60″). The painting is installed at the top of the grand staircase in this luxury hotel.

Nina’s outdoor sculpture; a Cool Globe entitled “Tall Grass” has been acquired by the Museum of Natural History in Cleveland, Ohio.

Artwork Adapted for Product Cover Design

Nina’s painting “Light & Shadow: Fiesole” has been adapted for use as the cover art on a new colored pencil product being developed by the Prismacolor Company.
