Nina Weiss/Art Endeavors is pleased to announce a book signing & opening event in honor of the new publication; "Artists' Homes & Studios".  Nina's work and studio is featured in this new publication; with photography by Evan Kane.  She is proud to host three artists also included in the book at this Opening event;  Terrence Coffman; Cheryl Holz; and Wade Aldean.  March 13th; 6:00 - 9:00 at the Art Endeavors studio.  Books will be available for signing!

MET COLORS: ART LICENSING

Nina has been invited by the prestigious art licensing company Met Colors to join their stable of artists for art licensing opportunities.  The Oklahoma based company will develop Nina's landscape painting images for reproduction use by large retailers in the USA and Europe.

TOASTING & TOURING TO HONOR NEW ART PURCHASES

Nina is honored to be a part of the Warren-Newport Public Library District’s upcoming “Toasting & Touring” event highlighting the library’s sponsored spaces and new artwork.  She will be on hand for a private reception with donors and trustees, followed by a public  meet and greet from 1:00 - 3:00pm on Sunday; October 6.  The library acquired two of Nina’s paintings:  “Frozen River” (50” X 72”) and “That Day” (40” X 60”) for the newly designed space.  The two large-scale landscape paintings are now on permanent display in the adult Fiction and Reference room.

NINA’S WORK CHOSEN FOR COOK COUNTY LAW LIBRARY RE-DEDICATION

On September 26th, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, Chief Judge Timothy Evans, and the Cook County Law Library will rededicate the Law Library to another 50 years of service.

Following the re-dedication ceremony, in collaboration with the Illinois Artisans Program, Illinois State Museum, the Law Library will also be unveiling a new art display in the Law Library. Featured Asans: Lisa Goesling, Tina Leto, Didier Nolet, Mary Jo O’Gara and Nina Weiss.

The 6 month exhibition will remain on display through March 9th, 2014. The public can view the exhibition Monday-Friday 8:30am-9pm in the Cook County Law Library, Daley Center Floor 29. All visitors to the Daley Center are required to go through security on the first floor.

NINA WEISS PART OF NATIONAL PARKS ON-LINE GALLERY LAUNCH

  An on-line gallery for the National Parks Artists in Residency Programs has been launched!

100 Artists of the Midwest

Nina has been invited to be part of a new book by Ashley Rooney "100 Artists of the Midwest". The book; due to be published late 2011; will showcase the art of 100 chosen artists throughout the Midwest.

“Art in Hand” Playing Cards

Nina has been selected to represent the State of Illinois in a new, national artist playing card deck. Nina developed the Five of Hearts, encapsulating iconography and imagery from the Chicago and Illinois.
